Ranking the starting QBs in the NFC West

NFL, NFC West, Kyler Murray, Russell Wilson, Jared Goff, Jimmy Garoppolo

The NFC West has been one of the most competitive divisions in football for some time now. The division has boasted some of the best defenses of our generation, like Seattle’s Legion of Boom unit from the early 2010s or the Patrick Willis led 49ers defenses from the same time period.

When we look at the makeup up of the NFC West now, the elite quarterback play is what stands out the most. The four starting quarterbacks from the NFC West, Russell Wilson, Jared Goff, Kyler Murray and Jimmy Garoppolo, combined to throw 100 touchdowns last season and they had an average QB rating of 95.6.

Ranking these four is no easy task, as all four are very solid starting quarterbacks. But, only one can be the best. Here’s our ranking of the quarterbacks from the NFC West

  1. What a stupid article. Jimmy G basically had Goff’s 2018 season and jumps to number 2. Kyler Murray had half a good season and he’s ahead of Goff as well. Wilson is #1 yes, the rest of this article was garbage.

  2. What mind of crap is this article? Goff is worse qb I’m the division ? None of these qbs have put a season together like his 2018 campaign except Wilson. Even with Wilson you look at his numbers first 4 years and goffs . Very close . Garoppolo, and Murray? Please theres no contest . Did jimmy g not get “exposed” in the super bowl . Did Jimmy g receivers drop two td passes in the super bowl? This is bias crap
