2 players the San Francisco 49ers should trade up for in the 2020 NFL Draft

Jerry Jeudy, Wide Receiver, Alabama

This would take an aggressive move from the 49ers. Jerry Jeudy has been mocked anywhere from No. 16 all the way up to No. 7. San Francisco should still consider trying to make a move for him.

Jimmy Garoppolo and the passing game were not the main engine for the offense, but they were lethal when needed. San Francisco is poised to lose veteran starting receiver Emmanuel Sanders to free agency. That is where a trade for a talent like Jeudy could come into play.

Last season with the Crimson Tide, Jeudy ended up catching 77 passes for 1,163 yards and 10 touchdowns. He is a legitimate No. 1 wide receiver prospect and the 49ers would be a perfect landing spot for him.

San Francisco would have to give up their first-round pick this year and likely a second-rounder as well to get the deal done. It may even take more than that depending on which teams are interested in Jeudy. Despite the hefty price tag, the 49ers should consider making the move.
