2 reasons Devin Funchess could be a sneaky free agency target for the Jets

As the New York Jets enter the second year of the Adam Gase era, they will certainly look to add more weaponry to his offense this offseason.

After starting the season 1-7, the Jets finished strong winning six out of their last eight contests. Carrying that momentum into next season and continuing to trend in the right direction will be the top goal for this organization.

All eyes will be on quarterback Sam Darnold as he prepares for his third NFL season. He’s yet to truly establish himself as a legit franchise quarterback, but that could all change this year if the Jets front office surrounds him with some solid talent.

One wideout who could end up being a steal in free agency for New York is 25-year-old Devin Funchess. He may not provide the team with the elite play maker they’re seeking, but he would be a solid building block at wideout.
