The 2021 NFL season is gearing up for what should be a crazy Super Wild Card weekend. One of the more intriguing matchups will feature the Las Vegas Raiders hitting the road to take on the Cincinnati Bengals. After a crazy win to end the season in Week 18 over the Los Angeles Chargers, the Raiders are full of confidence heading into this weekend’s game.

Derek Carr and company have been playing very well on the offensive side of the ball. Even with the rough departure of former head coach Jon Gruden and the arrest of Henry Ruggs III for an awful DUI resulting in death, the team has remained level. Going up against adversity is never easy, but the Raiders have passed the test with flying colors.

With that being said, a new test awaits them. Joe Burrow and the Bengals have a high-powered offense themselves and neither defense is elite. This could turn into an old-fashioned shootout.

Let’s dive in and take a look at three bold predictions for the Raiders’ offense for this weekend’s’ Wild Card game.

3. Josh Jacobs Comes Through With A Big-Time Performance

First up, the Raiders are going to need to rely heavily on their ground game. Carr is a good quarterback, but he isn’t the kind of guy that can power a team to the Super Bowl by himself. Establishing and riding the ground game will be necessary to make a deep playoff run.

Jacobs is coming off of a regular season that saw him rack up 872 yards and nine touchdowns on 217 carries. Those numbers average out to 4.0 yards per carry. He didn’t put up superstar numbers, but they were solid and consistent.

We are predicting that Jacobs will step up big-time this weekend. He will end up rushing for at least 110 yards and a touchdowns. If the Raiders do get that kind of production from him, they’ll be in a very good position.

2. Derek Carr And Darren Waller Dominate The Bengals’ Defense

Part two of a perfect offensive game plan would feature Carr and Waller hooking up all game long. They don’t have to be super big plays, but they need to be consistent all game long. Thankfully, Carr and Waller have a proven track record of doing just that.

Waller is arguably the most underrated player in the entire playoffs. He is a true superstar, but people don’t talk about him enough. That will start changing after this game.

Carr and Waller will end up with 140 yards on connections with each other. Waller will also score at least one and possibly two touchdowns. Las Vegas will have their offense firing on all cylinders.

1. The Raiders Pick Up A Nail-Biting Win Powered By The Offense

This is going to be a very high-scoring game. Anyone who is expecting a defensive battle will be disappointed. Both offenses are stacked with talent and the defenses are going to give up big yardage and points.

However, due to the Raiders having a consistent run game and the Carr-Waller connection coming up big, they will win this game.

When everything is said and done, our final score prediction is the Raiders taking this game 34-30. It’s going to be a wild ride and Raiders fans should buckle up for it.
