3 early goals for Broncos WR Courtland Sutton in 2020

Earn a Regular Pro Bowl Nod

It didn’t take Courtland Sutton long to find his way to the Pro Bowl. He managed to be named as an alternate in just his second NFL season after posting 72 receptions for 1,112 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

There simply wasn’t room left on the regular list for Sutton to make after narrowly missing out in voting. Between DeAndre Hopkins, Keenan Allen, Jarvis Landry, and Tyreek Hill, the receivers from the AFC side of things were tough to compete against for a spot.

The spot Sutton ended up filling was the opening created by Hopkins dropping out due to injury. His regular spot is now permanently open in the AFC now that he’s a member of the Arizona Cardinals in the opposite conference.

The next step for Sutton will be to earn a spot in the Pro Bowl but not have to do it as an alternate. The situation is there as he is a solidified star in the Broncos’ offense and now has more help to alleviate some pressure off him.
