3 free agent linebackers the Raiders should consider signing

Finally, there is one free agent linebacker that would make the most sense for Las Vegas. That guy would be Packers’ impending free agent Blake Martinez. He is expected to leave Green Bay and the Raiders should absolutely pursue him.

Martinez put up monstrous numbers in 2019 with the Packers. He totaled 155 tackles to go along with three sacks, one forced fumble, one interception, and two defended passes. Obviously, his tackling numbers pop off the charts and he deserves a ton of credit.

Unfortunately, the reason the Packers are ready to move on from Martinez is the fact that he can’t always cover sideline to sideline. He has limited athleticism, but the Raiders shouldn’t let that scare them away. Martinez would be a massive upgrade for Las Vegas and they should be willing to spend money to get him.
