3 intriguing targets for the Panthers at No. 38 in the NFL Draft

Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports

Noah Igbinoghene, Cornerback, Auburn

If the Panthers choose to focus on defense, the cornerback position is something they need to take a long look at. Unless Jeff Okudah falls to them at No. 7, there is a good chance that they will take a long look at one in the second round.

Noah Igbinoghene is one of the more intriguing names in the NFL Draft and he has talent to go with it. He racked up 42 tackles and seven defended passes in 2019 at Auburn. There is still a lot of work for him to do, but the raw talent is there.

He has a ton of strength and is a very physical cornerback. Igbinoghene is just 5-foot-11, but he makes up for it with pure effort. Carolina should consider taking him at No. 38 to help shore up their secondary.
