3 intriguing targets for the Panthers at No. 38 in the NFL Draft

Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY Sports

Marlon Davidson, Defensive Line, Auburn

Let’s add another Auburn defender to this list. Marlon Davidson would provide the Panthers with a massive boost on their defensive line. They need to add talent on the line after losing both Gerald McCoy and Dontari Poe to free agency.

Davidson is a big body on the defensive line at 6-foot-3 and 278 pounds. He also put up great production in 2019 for Auburn. When everything was said and done, he recorded 49 total tackles to go along with 7.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and a defended pass.

There is a good chance that the Panthers will look at Davidson if he is still on the board. Some mock drafts have had him going in the first round. However, the Panthers would be a great fit for him.
