3 potential cornerback options for the New York Jets in the NFL Draft

Doesn’t it feel like Darrelle Revis was the last viable option for the New York Jets at cornerback? They have shuffled through names like Morris Claiborne, Kyle Wilson, and Trumaine Johnson since and nothing has stuck. This leaves the Jets in need of a cornerback heading into 2020.

It was another mediocre season for the Jets as they finished 7-9 and in third place in the AFC East. The best part of their team was their defense led by All-Pro Jamal Adams. The Jets had a strong rush defense and Adams was the leader in the secondary. New York is a corner or two away from building a really solid defense.

The Jets hold the No. 11 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. They have plenty to figure out on the offensive side of the ball such as offensive line and adding another receiver. Whether it is the first-round or not, the Jets need to add a corner and here are three strong options they could consider.
