Bryce Hall, Virginia

New York is expected to go receiver or offensive line with their first-round pick. This is where Hall comes into play.

Hall is leaving Virginia as a senior and a top-five cornerback in the draft. He is a player with exceptional ball skills. In 2018, Hall led the nation with 21 pass breakups. Outside of that, Hall’s best attribute is his physicality. He is a willing tackler who hits hard. What Hall lacks in foot speed, he makes up for in awareness and instinct. He is a player who will excel best in zone coverage.

For the Jets, this is the best fit. Why? Because he will be available in the second round and will not make them use their 11th pick or trade back in. If New York could get a player like Hall in the second round, their draft will be a huge success.
