Cleveland Browns
The Browns currently sit with $44.8 million in cap space, per Over The Cap. With Clevland having an abundance of funds to their disposal, the addition of Logan Ryan would provide them with three quality cornerbacks.
Already on the roster, they’re running out Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams on the outside but with today’s NFL becoming such a pass-oriented league, defenses are primarily using packages with three cornerbacks.
Logan Ryan would fit into their nickel cornerback position — an area he’s comfortable in as he saw the majority of his snaps in that role last season. Clevland’s defense has a lot to be excited about but it’s still fairly young so adding the veteran presence of Ryan could speak volumes to the young players.
It’s unlikely he’ll receive anything over a three-year contract if they were to offer Ryan just based on the principle that some of their core young guns will need contract extensions in years to come.
