3 potential landing spots for Teddy Bridgewater in free agency

2. Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers appear to have hit the reset button as they’ve built a new coaching staff, giving Matt Rhule his first chance to run a team in the NFL. Rhule will be accompanied by LSU’s lucrative passing game coordinator Joe Brady, as the two combine their philosophies to create a dynamic offense in the NFC South.

With a new head coach and offensive coordinator calling the shots, bringing in a new quarterback of their choice is a high possibility. Bridgewater’s efficiency would be welcomed with open arms in Carolina over Cam Newton’s erratic throwing tendencies.

As the Panthers will be led by two former college minds who demanded accuracy from their quarterbacks, the same expectation can be said from their new signal-caller, and Bridgewater checks that box.

Throughout Teddy Bridgewater’s past, he’s thrived primarily when throwing intermediate and underneath passes. The Panthers’offense possesses the talents of Christian McCaffrey, DJ Moore, and Curtis Samuel, who all play to the strengths in which Briedegwater does best.
