3 reasons the Panthers should consider trading down in the NFL Draft

The final reason why the Panthers should consider trading back is that some very talented players will be available at the end of the first round.

Even if the Panthers did want to target an offensive tackle to protect Bridgewater, late-round options like Josh Jones will still be available. Several defensive players will fall to the end of the first round that would be an immediate improvement over the current starters.

The best scenario for the Panthers in the draft is to trade out of the top-10. They can then draft a talented defensive player at the end of the first round then still have two additional picks in the second round to use.
