Philip Rivers is entering a brand new chapter of his impressive career with the Indianapolis Colts in 2020. After years of being the franchise star for the Los Angeles Chargers, both Rivers and the franchise decided to part ways this offseason.

Entering the 2020 season, the Colts are expected to be a contender in the AFC. They are widely viewed as the favorites to win the AFC South, especially with DeAndre Hopkins no longer with the Houston Texans.

Last season, the Colts missed the playoffs after Andrew Luck’s surprising retirement. Jacoby Brissett did his best, but it wasn’t enough. Chris Ballard decided to make the free agency splash for Rivers to make a push to get back into Super Bowl contention.

During the 2019 season with the Chargers, Rivers struggled a bit. He ended up completing 66 percent of his pass attempts for 4,615 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 20 interceptions. The numbers weren’t horrible outside of his turnover issues.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three stats the Colts and fans should be expecting from Philip Rivers in 2020.
