3 Teams Who Should Trade For Jets’ WR Mecole Hardman

With Mecole Hardman not playing much for the New York Jets, here are three teams that could look to trade for him.

The Jets were able to leave Denver with a nice win against the Broncos to keep their season alive. While the win moves the Jets to 2-3 on the season, there is still a lot of work to be done.

While the offense for the Jets is performing better, one player who hasn’t been involved at all is wide receiver Micole Hardman. The Jets signed Hardman this offseason to be a big play threat for them, but with the team having more success using multiple tight ends, Hardman hasn’t been involved at all.

With Hardman out of the picture on offense, rumors are that the Jets might look to move him.

If the Jets do look to move Hardman, here are three teams that would be good fits for him.

Carolina Panthers

The Panthers certainly could use help at the wide receiver position, as Bryce Young and the offense haven’t looked good at all this season. After trading a lot to acquire Young, including D.J. Moore, the Panthers have to try and find some way to get some talent for Young.

At just 25 years old, Mecole Hardman could grow and thrive with Young in Carolina as his big play threat. The price to get him likely wouldn’t be much and that is good for a team that lost a lot of draft capital recently.

New York Giants

Like the Panthers, another team that has struggled to find production in the passing game has been the New York Giants. While the season hasn’t started like the franchise would have hoped after making the playoffs last season, the Giants’ schedule does get easier coming up.

New York will certainly need to get Saquon Barkley back soon if they are going to turn things around, but adding a player like Hardman could be more of a move looking to the future for them as well.

So far this season, the Giants only have one receiving touchdown from a wide receiver, and their tight end Darren Waller leads the team in receiving yards. For a team starving for talent at the wide receiver position, they should inquire about any receiver who might be available.

Kansas City Chiefs

Despite leaving the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency, Mecole Hardman going back makes a lot of sense. The Chiefs’ offense feels a bit off this season and part of that is because of the inexperience at wide receiver.

Bringing back Hardman would provide Mahomes with a player that he is comfortable with and can help the team repeat as Super Bowl Champions. With three straight seasons, before last with over 500 receiving yards for Kansas City, Hardman would be a needed boost for the offense. With some familiarity there, the Chiefs pursuing Hardman after losing him in free agency makes a lot of sense.
