4. The 49ers Will Force Three Turnovers
Even with quite a few key defensive players out with injuries, the 49ers are still going to make some plays. Robert Saleh is not going to hold back just because the injury bug bit the 49ers.
Against Daniel Jones and the Giants, who lost Saquon Barkley to a torn ACL as well in Week 2, the 49ers are going to have a ton of success. They will force a couple of interceptions and will also force a fumble. San Francisco’s short-handed defense is still dangerous.
3. Jerick McKinnon Has A Massive Performance
With both Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman likely out against the Giants due to injuries, the starting running back job will belong to McKinnon. He will take full advantage of the bigger workload.
McKinnon has carried the ball six times for 101 yards and a touchdown in two games this year. He has also caught three passes for 20 yards and a score. The 49ers will see McKinnon rush for 120 yards and two touchdowns to go along with five receptions for 40 yards in Week 3.
