David Montgomery will have 100 all-purpose yards

In the aftermath of Cohen’s season-ending knee injury, David Montgomery will see a much bigger role in Chicago’s offense.

Not only should Montgomery have a featured role out of the backfield, but he should benefit from having Foles under center, as Montgomery can be a factor in the passing game as well.

Montgomery had 14 carries for 45 yards against Atlanta, but with Cohen on the mend, the Bears can draw up bigger plans for Montgomery against Indianapolis.

If the Bears utilize Montgomery in the passing game out of the backfield, it should also bode well for their receivers, as it would give the Colts’ defense one more element to worry about.
