4 early reasons the Dallas Cowboys will win the NFC East in 2020

Brought in a Great Draft Class

The way the 2020 NFL Draft played out was a significant benefit to the Cowboys. They managed to add talented prospects at plenty of their areas of need without having to force those selections, resulting in what many consider as being one of the best team drafts this year.

To kick things off, the Cowboys went with the best player available and selected a highly talented receiver prospect in CeeDee Lamb. While the wide receiver position wasn’t a dire need, they will be able to have some truly impressive three-receiver sets in 2020.

The Cowboys lost some key defensive players earlier in the offseason but managed to add talent at those positions. They selected an impressive press-man cornerback prospect by selecting Trevon Diggs in the second-round. This is important considering the departure of Byron Jones.

To follow that up, Dallas landed defensive lineman Neville Gallimore with the No. 82 pick to provide an interior pass rushing presence. They added another cornerback (Reggie Robinson II) and a center (Tyler Biadasz) in the fourth-round along with a defensive end (Bradlee Anae) in round five.
