4 early reasons the Dallas Cowboys will win the NFC East in 2020

Main Competitor is Still Only Philadelphia

The NFC East managed to improve this offseason but the New York Giants and Washington Redskins are not ready to compete for the division title yet. The main team the Dallas Cowboys will need to stack up with are the Philadelphia Eagles just as it was like during the 2019 season.

The Eagles were held back by a crippling lack of receiver talent last season, particularly in their ability to spread the defense out with speed. Adding a speedy receiver like Jalen Reagor will help with this but they still don’t appear to have enough talent at this position.

There are still a variety of holes the Eagles have on defense that make them easier for the Cowboys to stack up against in a matchup. While they have talent at defensive tackle, they lack for much at defensive end, coverage on the boundary, and at safety and linebacker, in general.

If the Cowboys receive sufficient coaching performance from McCarthy, they have more than enough talent to comfortably outpace the Eagles in the scoring department. They also have more than enough to win more games over the course of the regular season, especially with an easy schedule.
