3. Brandon Aiyuk Flashed Impressive Potential

There wasn’t much scoring that went on this matchup. With a backup quarterback running the show for the 49ers’ offense, that was something to be expected, to an extent.

The 49ers needed all of the big play contributions they could get and Brandon Aiyuk managed to deliver one of his own.

After receiving a screen pass from Nick Mullens, Aiyuk avoided being brought down by two Eagles defenders and was faced with just the safety being between him and the end-zone.

Instead of allowing the safety to bring him down, Aiyuk executed a masterful hurdle in the open field and crossed the goal line to finally put the 49ers on the board.
