4. Carson Wentz Ran For His Life

It’s no secret the Eagles have a substantially banged up offensive line, even though it’s only Week 4 of the NFL season.

Without having reliable pass blocking, Carson Wentz has been forced to consistently have to evade pass rushers to throw the ball away to avoid a sack or take off upfield to gain rushing yards.

Despite facing such circumstances, Wentz ended up getting sacked three times in this game along with numerous close calls. He may not be Lamar Jackson, but Wentz still managed to take off for seven carries to gain 37 yards and record one rushing touchdown.

While that was intriguing to see, Wentz couldn’t transcend the poor offensive line play to create much for passing production downfield— finishing by completing 18-of-28 (64.3%) pass attempts for 193 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
