Drew Brees Is Just Fine

Let’s stop with the freakout that has been going on over the last week about Drew Brees. Fans have been saying that he must be injured or maybe age is just catching up to him and he can’t play at an elite level anymore. Brees silenced all of that nonsense this week in a tough loss.

Brees racked up 288 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions against a good Packers’ defense. He completed 29 of his 36 pass attempts in the contest.

New Orleans is just fine and Brees is just fine. The Saints may be 1-2, but they are still a serious contender without a doubt.

It will be interesting to see what the next cause for concern is surrounding the Saints. We’re just in Week 3 and he has put up good numbers. Brees is fine and the Saints will turn things around.
