Alvin Kamara Might Just Be The Best Running Back In Football

This has been a great debate over the past year. Alvin Kamara is arguably the best running back in football, although Carolina Panthers star Christian McCaffrey normally receives that hype.

However, this week against the Packers, the Saints saw Kamara show why he should be considered the best in the game. He only carried the ball six times, but picked up 58 yards. Kamara lit up the Green Bay defense with 13 receptions for 139 yards and two touchdowns.

No defense can stop Kamara, they can only hope to slow him down. Even though the Packers were focused on slowing down Kamara, they couldn’t get the job done.

Kamara needs to get the football more and Sean Payton is starting to realize that. When Michael Thomas returns to the field, Kamara will lose some touches, but it shouldn’t be many. This was an amazing performance from the Saints’ star and it won’t be his last like it.
