2. A.J. Terrell, Cornerback, Clemson

At this point in time, there is a ton of uncertainty for the Lions at the cornerback position. They have one of the top players in the league at cornerback on their roster in Darius Slay. However, trade rumors have been swirling about his name.

If the Lions want to draft his potential replacement, A.J. Terrell could be the right guy. He put up 34 tackles, 0.5 sacks, two interceptions, and three defended passes in 2019. There is still a lot of work for him to do, but he has a great work ethic and the willingness to be coached.

Detroit’s secondary would take a huge step forward if they could keep Slay and add Terrell. The two of them together would be tough for opposing offenses to face.
