Antoine Winfield Jr.
By having two second-round picks, the options for the Dolphins are endless. Depending on what they do with their first four picks, Miami could be looking to add a piece to their makeshift secondary.
During the 2019 season, the Dolphins traded Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Fitzpatrick thrived in Pittsburgh while Miami failed to assemble a secondary that could be relied upon.
Along with Fitzpatrick, it’s just a matter of time before the Dolphins move on from Reshad Jones. Miami has been trying to trade the veteran safety, but they could release him this offseason.
In an attempt to replace him, the Dolphins could select Antoine Winfield Jr. out of Minnesota. Throughout his collegiate career, Winfield displayed an impressive football IQ and playmaking ability. In his final season at Minnesota in 2019, Winfield recorded 83 tackles, three sacks, and seven interceptions.
