4. S Darnell Savage
After being drafted 21st overall in 2019 out of Maryland, Savage started all 14 games he played as a rookie with 55 total tackles, two interceptions, five pass breakups and two forced fumbles. He was graded out well by Pro Football Focus, with a top-30 coverage grade among the league’s safeties as he allowed a 71.1 passer rating in his coverage.
The Packers have finally found a playmaker at safety. But Savage does have another step to take, with room to be more consistent in his second season.
