3. Slow Starts Are Nothing New for the Vikings

The Vikings have a tendency to start off slow. Last season, the Vikings had a 2-2 start before going on a mid-season run. Minnesota has a lot of young players on both sides of the ball. These young players will take some time to adjust to the speed of the NFL.

While 0-3 is an ugly start to the season, it isn’t impossible for them to come back. Minnesota played two teams that are currently 3-0. The Colts are a very good team that could make the playoffs.

Losing to three straight potential playoff teams is very disheartening, but it isn’t the end of the world. If the Vikings drop the next game against a struggling Texans team, then it might be an insurmountable hill to overcome. However, once the Vikings click they will become one of the better teams in the league.

Each week the Vikings have gotten better. While Kirk Cousins’ struggles are very concerning, he can turn that around. The offensive line needs to improve. The receivers must get some chemistry going with Cousins. Once the offense clicks, they will be able beat almost anyone.
