2. Trubisky Continues Decline After His Stellar Opener
For Chicago Bears’ fans, this has been a roller coaster trying to figure out who their franchise quarterback is going to be. During the offseason, there were many people looking forward to the next quarterback and hoping a free agent was signed to at least give Mitchell Trubisky competition.
When the Bears doubled down on him as their starter, the pressure mounted.
After his first game when he threw for 242 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions, there was hope that he was stepping up to be the quarterback Chicago was hoping he would be when they drafted him.
After his second game, however, it is hard to peg him. This third game I see him continue to decline and place himself firmly on the hot seat. Atlanta does not have a top defense and this game will be very telling as to his abilities to win going forward.
