5 bold predictions for the Broncos vs. Jets matchup in Week 4

5. Broncos cover the spread

The Broncos will enter Thursday night with a backup quarterback playing on the road, where teams have not faired well historically on short weeks. And the Broncos are still three-point favorites over the Jets, and you know what, take the Broncos.

The Jets are hands down the worst team in football through three weeks. Entering the season, Jacksonville, Washington, or Cincinnati were favorites to land the No. 1 pick, but as we stand right now it is the Jets.

Darnold has not progressed in his third year in the league. Yes, they have some injuries in Jamison Crowder and Le’Veon Bell, but there no confidence that they would improve the team drastically. Especially when Gase is doing nothing to help himself or his team.

That is not a case for the Broncos. It is more of an anti-Jets motion. If you do not take the Broncos in this game, then you lay off. There is no one who should be betting on the Jets. If they cover, tip your cap and move on, but that is hard to imagine.
