5 bold predictions for the Chiefs vs. Ravens matchup in Week 3

4. Mahomes Does More with His Feet

The first game of the season saw Patrick Mahomes begin where he left off as Super Bowl MVP. He threw for over 200 yards with 3 touchdowns and was not asked to run the ball at all.

Mahomes followed that up with a 300-yard passing performance where he had to run for 54 yards last week, in what was a much closer game. When the game is closer, Mahomes has shown that he will do whatever he needs to in order to help his team get a win.

This is expected to be a very close game with two of the best teams in the NFL facing off against each other. In a close game, Mahomes will need to pick up a first down or two with his legs in order to keep drives alive.

Mahomes may never put up the Lamar Jackson or Kyler Murray type rushing numbers, but this will be a game where he steps up and gains extra yards on the ground.
