Colts, Philip Rivers

3. Philip Rivers Has A Breakout Performance

The Colts made a change at the quarterback position during the offseason by going from Jacoby Brissett to Philip Rivers. He has shown improvement since a rough season debut, but has yet to put together a big outing.

In Week 3, Rivers had a strong outing and managed to complete 81% of his 21 pass attempts against the Jets. He racked up 217 yards and one touchdown without much need to put up massive numbers since the defense got the job done.

The Colts will need Rivers to shoulder more of the load in Week 4, especially when considering they will be under-manned at skills positions. The Bears’ defense is a tough matchup and it’s a must that he manages to get the job done.

During this outing, Rivers will fire on all cylinders for the Colts during this matchup — finishing with totals of at least 325 yards and three touchdowns without throwing any picks.
