5. Jonathan Taylor Puts Together A Big-Time Performance
The Colts have plenty of potential on offense, even with a slew of recent injuries to key players. A critical factor in their trajectory is rookie running back Jonathan Taylor. If he can succeed against the Bears, it will substantially influence Indianapolis’ ability to get the win.
After a poor NFL debut in Week 1, Taylor has managed to post back-to-back impressive outings. He has combined for 39 carries for 160 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Colts over the last two weeks.
There has been some flashes of intriguing potential by Taylor at times. While at others, he hasn’t hit running lanes hard and run with explosion. He’s going to put it all together in Week 4 against a tough Bears defense that will demand his best if he were to succeed.
By the time Taylor’s performance reaches its end, he will end up exceeding volumes of 100 all-purpose yards with a pair of touchdowns. He will provide a needed presence in the backfield to set the tone for the Colts.
