5 bold predictions for the Colts vs. Jets matchup in Week 3

Entering this Week 3 matchup, it is about as one-sided as possible. This was on display during the second week of the season based on the significant disparity in results the New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts each achieved.

The Colts rebounded nicely after a surprising loss in the opener to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Indianapolis dominated the Minnesota Vikings from the opening kick. They picked off Kirk Cousins twice and held them to just 11 points.

The Colts scored 28 points and got 101 yards and a touchdown from rookie running back Jonathan Taylor. Mo Alie-Cox led the team with five catches for 111 yards.

On the complete opposite side of the spectrum sits the Jets. Week 2 was another embarrassing loss for New York in their own stadium. They were defeated 31-13 by a banged up San Francisco 49ers team.

On the first play of the game, the Jets allowed Raheem Mostert to go 80 yards for a touchdown. There was an instance where the Jets allowed a 55-yard run on third-and-31. This is an inept football team with no hope until Adam Gase is fired as head coach.

There is not much hope for the Jets in this one as the Colts look to improve to 2-1 on the season.

With that being said, let’s take a look at five bold predictions for the Indianapolis Colts vs. New York Jets matchup in Week 3 of the 2020 NFL season.
