5 bold predictions for the Lions vs. Cardinals matchup in Week 3

This Week 3 matchup will feature two teams who have had very different fates over the first two weeks of the season. The Arizona Cardinals have a chance to be a legitimate team this season while the Detroit Lions remain a mess in the NFC North.

Arizona picked up a 30-15 win over Washington in Week 2 behind the rushing of Kyler Murray. He ran eight times for 67 yards and two scores in this one. DeAndre Hopkins had another productive day in an offense that looks well-oiled under Kliff Kingsbury. The Cardinals have an easy schedule over the next three weeks so a win over the Lions could lead to a 5-0 start.

The Lions led the Green Bay Packers 14-3 early on but they were outscored 39-7 over the final three quarters. The absence of Kenny Golladay seems to have the offense out of whack early on. Matt Patricia continues to build a putrid resume as a head coach in the league.

The Cardinals opened up as 5.5-point favorites at home in this one and that line is expected to change to a larger number throughout the week.

With that being said, let’s take a look at five bold predictions for the Detroit Lions vs. Arizona Cardinals matchup in Week 3 of the 2020 NFL season.
