Last offseason, we saw multiple edge rushers receive the franchise tag and get traded to a different team before the season began. Even though the Baltimore Ravens would prefer to keep him for another season, Matthew Judon could be on the trade block ahead of the 2020 NFL season.

Prior to free agency, the Ravens placed their franchise tag on Judon to prevent him from hitting the open market. Still, that doesn’t assure that he’ll be with the team when the season begins in September.

With guys like Ronnie Stanley and Marlon Humphrey needing extensions soon, Baltimore will have to make a tough decision on Judon. If the Ravens are unable to get a deal done with Judon for the right price, they could look to trade the 27-year-old edge rusher in the coming months.
