There are a lot of Fantasy Football managers that saw their teams put up monster scores in Week 3. With so many players booming, this could have been the highest-scoring week to date, leading to a lot of happy people on Tuesday morning.

Alas, for every happy manager, there is a disappointed one who had to go up against a juggernaut. If you were on the receiving end of one of those big losses, there is still time to turn things around.

Playing the waiver wire well is key to finding success in Fantasy Football. If you are looking for some help after a tough loss, here are five players that you should be looking to add. The first of which is Miami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane.

Achane had an incredible performance in Week 3, playing a big part in Miami blowing out the Denver Broncos 70-20. He had 18 carries for 203 yards and two touchdowns, adding four receptions for 30 yards and another two scores.

He will be the No. 1 waiver wire add this week if any antsy managers released him during the first two weeks of the season. Achane won’t have performances like that every week, but his role is expanding weekly.

Another rookie worth adding this week is Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell. Dell was on the field for a majority of snaps for the second straight week and is turning into a go-to receiver for C.J. Stroud.

When the Texans are in passing situations, Dell is on the field. When running the ball, they go with other groupings. But, you don’t get points in Fantasy Football for run blocking, making Dell a valuable player as Houston won’t be leading every week by double-digit points.

Speaking of Stroud and the Texans, he also found himself on this week’s must-add players list. He has been a high-volume player and efficient, not throwing a single interception in three games despite attempting 121 passes.

Stroud ranks second in the NFL with 140 dropbacks this season as Houston has full confidence in him getting the job done. Even in a blowout against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Stroud provided value.

With bye weeks on the horizon, scoping up Stroud now makes sense. It won’t be long before he is considered an every-week player, not just a streaming option for Fantasy Football managers whose quarterback isn’t playing that week.

Next on the list is wide receiver Joshua Palmer of the Los Angeles Chargers. Palmer is going to step into a familiar role as the injury replacement to Mike Williams, who tore his ACL in Week 3. After that injury, Palmer, not rookie Quentin Johnston, was an every-down player.

A key role in a high-power offense? That is something every Fantasy Football manager should want to get a piece of. Right now Palmer looks to be the top boundary receiver for Justin Hebert, which is a valuable role.

Last but not least is Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave. Right now, Musgrave is a top-10 tight end in Fantasy Football on the back of elite route running numbers. He is on the field a ton for the Packers and is involved every week.

There is room for improvement with his receiving grade of 62.1 being below average. Once he and Jordan Love can get on the same page and connect on some deep plays, his Fantasy Football ownership is going to explode. Get in on him before that happens.
