One of the biggest challenges that Fantasy Football managers face throughout the season is figuring out when something has run its course. Whether that means predicting when a hot streak could come to an end or when a cold streak may snap, it is a big part of making lineup decisions.

Heading into the halfway point of the Fantasy Football regular season, those decisions mean even more now. Making up for a miscue is tougher with the number of games left in the season dwindling.

If you are one of the lucky managers who have had a good start to the season, it may be time to move on from a few different players and make some changes. There are a number of players around the league who present good sell-high opportunities.

One such player is New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara. While Kamara remains a machine in PPR leagues as Derek Carr’s favorite target, the return of Jamaal Williams to the lineup is something to keep an eye on. His usage will undoubtedly be adjusted as the Saints paid Williams handsomely, for running back standards, in free agency.

With his elusiveness waning, Kamara isn’t as impactful as a runner. Unless he keeps up his very high target share numbers, his value in Fantasy Football will also start to disappear.

Another running back you should do your best to move on from is Miles Sanders of the Carolina Panthers. A changing of the guard in the backfield looked to be underway before Sanders missed Week 6 because of an injury. Chuba Hubbard was taking on a bigger role in the offense and that is something that could continue after the team’s bye in Week 7.

Sanders has not played up to potential after Carolina handed him the largest contract for a running back this offseason. While his value isn’t very high in a vacuum, this could be the highest it is for the remainder of the season, especially if the playing time split remains.

One wide receiver that it could be time to move on from is Jameson Williams of the Detroit Lions. Williams made a splash play in Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, catching a 45-yard touchdown. However, those splash plays are all that keep him relevant right now in Fantasy Football.

His usage and playing time are not where you’d like to see it as a manager relying on him to be a contributor. While he could certainly see an increase in his playing time, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Josh Reynolds have cemented themselves as the go-to targets for Jared Goff along with tight end Sam LaPorta.

Another wide receiver who is worth selling at this point is Kendrick Bourne of the New England Patriots. While teams around the league are going to be calling about his availability, it doesn’t sound like New England has an interest in moving him.

With the Patriots getting healthier at wide receiver, his snap count could start dropping. JuJu Smith-Schuster and Demario Douglas didn’t play this past week and Tyquan Thornton will be worked into the mix sooner than later. In a low-volume offense that has a struggling quarterback leading the way, Bourne’s Fantasy Football value could be at its highest point.

Last but not least, tight end Evan Engram of the Jacksonville Jaguars is someone you should look to extract some value for. Engram is ranked highly among tight ends this season but rookie Ben Strange is getting more involved in the game plan.

If he continues playing well, Engram’s snaps will start to dwindle. In addition, the Jaguars have a brutal schedule for tight ends, which could lead to lower-than-anticipated production for Fantasy Football managers holding onto him.
