4. Eagles Break Single-Season Sack Record

Last season, the Eagles had a historic pass rush. They led the league with 70 total sacks as four different players recorded double-digit sacks; Haasan Reddick had 16 while Javon Hargrave, Josh Sweat and Brandon Graham had 11 apiece.

Fletcher Cox had 7.0 of his own and Milton Williams had 4.0 as this pass rush can get after you from all over the field. This season the lineup will be slightly different with Hargrave moving on, but you can expect plenty of pressure still.

The Eagles will once again lead the NFL in sacks, but this time, they will take down the record held by the 1984 Chicago Bears. That team had 72 sacks and the Eagles will rewrite the record books, recording 75 this season. Philadelphia has some hungry youngsters entering the lineup that will want to show they belong right away.

3. 5 Players with 500+ Receiving Yards

During the 2022 NFL Draft, the Eagles made a splash acquisition, acquiring wide receiver A.J. Brown from the Tennessee Titans. They were hoping his presence, alongside DeVonta Smith, would help Jalen Hurts take his game to another level. Brown was able to achieve that goal.

He was unstoppable in his first season in the City of Brotherly Love, recording career-highs in receptions and yards and tying his career-high in touchdowns. He and Smith both had excellent seasons and more of that aerial attack will be on display this season.

The Eagles are going to have five different players record at least 500 receiving yards this season. Brown and Smith will once again lead the way, but new No. 3 receiver Olamide Zaccheus will also make his presence felt. Tight end Dallas Goedert will be No. 4 and the fifth spot will go to Swift out of the backfield.
