Stefon Diggs Will Provide a Boost

Unless you have been living under a rock, you would have heard by now that the Buffalo Bills added one of the best wide receivers in the NFL named Stefon Diggs. This is an addition that potentially changes the entire makeup of the Bills’ offense. For the first time in Josh Allen’s career, he will have an elite number one receiver.

It should also be noted that the Bills already had a talented receiving corps, with veteran wideouts John Brown and Cole Beasley. The Bills offense was not impressive last season, but with the addition of a player of Diggs’ caliber, it seems reasonable to assume that offense and specifically Josh Allen will take a significant step forward.

Diggs will not only bring experience and knowledge to the already experienced receiving corps, but will also provide a comfortable option for Allen to go to when in doubt. Having a player like Diggs will open opportunities for John Brown and Cole Beasley.

If opponents focus in on Diggs, there will certainly be openings for John Brown and Cole Beasley to take advantage of, making Josh Allen’s job much simpler. The Buffalo Bills currently have the strongest wide receiving corps in the division, and that should amount to winning the AFC East.
