The Buffalo Bills picked up a massive victory in Week 14 over the Kansas City Chiefs. Entering the contest on a two-game losing streak and off their bye, Buffalo did just enough to pick up a victory at Arrowhead, one of the most difficult places for opponents to play.

A big reason for the Bills to come away with the important victory was the performance of quarterback, Josh Allen. While it wasn’t his most impressive performance of the season, Allen made plays when the team needed him most.

In the game, he completed only 23-of-43 passes for 233 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He added 32 yards and another touchdown on the ground, willing his team to victory in a game that they had to win.

With that performance, Allen became the third player in NFL history to accomplish an impressive feat. According to Around the NFL on X, formerly Twitter, he joined Kyler Murray in 2020 with the Arizona Cardinals and Cam Newton in 2015 with the Carolina Panthers to record 25+ passing touchdowns and 10+ rushing touchdowns in the same season.

Playing in his sixth season as a professional, this is the first time Allen has scored double-digit rushing touchdowns. With his multi-touchdown performance against the Chiefs, he tied another record that Murray held

This was the ninth game this season in which Allen has scored at least one passing and rushing touchdown in the same game. Murray accomplished that feat, along with his 25/10 campaign, in the 2020 season.

With four games remaining in the season, Allen has a great chance to break Murray’s mark and record a passing and rushing touchdown in the same game for the 10th time this season. Two of those remaining games are against the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins, teams he has already accomplished the feat against once earlier this season.

If Allen can throw at least five more touchdowns this season, he will join Newton as the only other player to have 30/10 seasons. Newton finished 2015 with 35 passing touchdowns, a number that could be out of reach for Allen unless he goes on a tear in the final four weeks of the regular season.
