What should be noted, however, is that Rivers was also playing behind a porous offensive line. Indianapolis has one of the best offensive lines in football and Rivers will not turn the football over in his debut.

2. At Least 350 Yards and Three Touchdown Passes

Due to the Jaguars not having a great defense, Rivers should have himself a nice day. Throwing for 350 yards and three scores in his Colts’ debut is absolutely the definition of a “nice day.” Rivers will torch the Jacksonville secondary and will turn some heads with his performance.

Finally, the most important statistic that Rivers cares about is the result of the game. The Colts are not going to lose this one, even though they are on the road. Indianapolis will take this game by a final score of 35-17 and Rivers will make a statement that he is the missing piece for the Colts’ offense.
