Could Chiefs RB Damien Williams make a ‘big jump’ in 2020?

The Kansas City Chiefs best are known for their prolific passing attack led by Patrick Mahomes. There are role players that provide a needed impact like Damien Williams that are important to highlight as well.

It was a productive season for Williams as part of the Chiefs’ backfield rotation. He appeared in 11 games and managed to post career-best averages in rushing yards per game (45.3) and receiving yards per game (19.4) while scoring a combined seven touchdowns.

The impact Williams provided in the Super Bowl en route to their victory will never be forgotten by the Chiefs. He managed to rack up 133 total yards from scrimmage (104 rushing yards & 29 receiving yards) while chipping in two touchdowns.

Simply put, Williams is coming off what ended up being a breakout season that was capped off by a superb Super Bowl performance. He will be entering a contract year and will look to build off the impressive results he achieved in 2019.
