What’s Next With Dak Prescott?

The most obvious burning question for the Cowboys heading into the 2020 season is the future of franchise quarterback Dak Prescott.

Instead of signing Prescott to a long-term extension this offseason, the Cowboys decided to place the franchise tag on him. Jerry Jones would like to work something out, but the two sides have been fairly far apart on money.

Dallas and Prescott will need to work something out in the near future if they want to avoid unnecessary media pressure throughout the season. They absolutely should be willing to spend money to keep Prescott around. This deal needs to happen soon.

Prescott may not be worth as much as he is asking for, but the Cowboys need to meet him somewhere in the middle. Get it done Dallas!
