Did The Defense Improve Enough?

One of the most obvious focuses of the Cowboys this offseason was improving their defense from the line back. They have a dangerous offense, but other teams were able to beat them due to their extremely inconsistent defense.

This offseason, the Cowboys did everything they could to beef up their entire defense. They signed both Gerald McCoy and Dontari Poe to strengthen their line and also brought in Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to help their secondary. However, Dallas did end up losing cornerback Byron Jones.

Did the Cowboys improve their defense enough? Only time will tell, but they certainly added some quality pieces.

If the Cowboys’ defense can take a step forward, there is a good chance that they could end up being a serious contender in the NFC.
