Dak Has A History of Winning

Four seasons as a quarterback at Mississippi State, with three as a starter. Four seasons as a starter with the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL. Eight combined years of football from college to the pros, and Dak Prescott has never, never, had a losing season.

Admittedly, not all of those eight seasons are created equal. For every 13-3 NFL season or 10-3 college campaign, Dak also has some 8-8 and 7-6 finishes to his resume as well. But for a quarterback that’s won 63% of his professional starts, Prescott’s Cowboys’ are the victims of way too many “8-8” jokes.

Let’s hang on that 63% winning percentage for a second longer. Out of NFL quarterbacks with more than 10 starts, Prescott ranks in the top 10 in the league. Among quarterbacks with more than 40 starts, Prescott is in the top five.

Last year might have been the Cowboys’ worst since Prescott took the reigns, but three winning seasons, one .500 year, and a combined professional record of 40-24 speak to just how much of a winner Dak has been for his entire career.
