Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill has found himself in some hot water. An investigation has ensued for allegations of assault/battery at a Miami Beach marina according to a spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Police Department.

According to the report by WPLG-TV in Miami, Tyreek Hill is under investigation for allegedly hitting an employee at the marina during what was described as a disagreement that occurred on Sunday. According to Andy Slater, a Miami sports radio host, Tyreek Hill slapped the employee in the back of the head, but the employee does not wish to press charges at this time.

A statement has been released by the Dolphins via a spokesperson. The team has acknowledged the incident that has been reported.

“We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Tyreek, his representatives and the NFL,” the Dolphins said. “We will reserve further comment at this time.”

This isn’t the first time that Tyreek Hill has had a run-in with law enforcement as he was arrested for domestic violence in college while attending Oklahoma State. He was dismissed from the team as a result.

That was the main reason that he dropped in the 2016 NFL Draft to the fifth round. There he was selected No. 165 overall by the Kansas City Chiefs out of West Alabama. Earlier in his career with the Chiefs, he was also brought up on and investigated for child abuse charges.

Those incidents are the only eyesores on what has been an incredible professional career for Tyreek Hill. He has made the Pro Bowl every season in the NFL and had a career season in 2022, his first with the Dolphins.

There is no denying that Cheetah is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL with his dynamic playmaking ability and athleticism. After dominating for six seasons with the Chiefs, he has continued on that track with the Dolphins, putting himself on track to earn a gold jacket and enshrinement in Canton.
