The latest episode of the New Heights Podcast featuring Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce is now available, and it includes a special shoutout from the elder Kelce sibling to his younger brothers girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
During the podcast, Jason Kelce took a moment to extend his congratulations to Swift, commending her for her Kansas City Chiefs making it to the Super Bowl in what he humorously dubbed her “rookie year” as a member of Chiefs Kingdom.
“Shoutout to the newest member of Chiefs Kingdom, Taylor Swift, who has officially reached the Super Bowl in her rookie year.”
This lighthearted remark elicited a chuckle from Travis Kelce, who also expressed his gratitude for her being part of the Chiefs’ journey.
“Yeah shoutout to Tay. Thanks for joining the team.”
Taylor Swift’s presence at Kansas City Chiefs games this season has been a source of excitement for NFL enthusiasts and, admittedly, a source of irritation for a peculiar minority of fans.
Nevertheless, her association with the Chiefs appears to be a lasting one, as long as she remains linked with Travis Kelce and the team continues to grace our TV screens.
For those who relish Taylor Swift’s appearances, there’s good news (and perhaps not-so-good news for those who feel differently): there’s at least one more game where we can anticipate catching a glimpse of her for about 30-45 seconds this year—the Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.
