Continuity With Matt LaFleur
The first season under Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur was largely a success. The team managed to finish with an impressive 13-3 record and even earned a trip to the NFC Championship Game. It wasn’t perfect, though.
There were times last season when the Packers’ offense clearly wasn’t clicking and it seemed there were things to iron-out. That naturally comes with a team that is operating with a new head coach at the helm and Green Bay just simply was no exception.
The ability Aaron Rodgers has to make big plays out of the pocket has become a staple of his skill-set. However, there were noticeably situations when he tried to make something happen but it resulted in an unfavorable outcome. Finding balance in the system will be important.
Having such an impactful running game should naturally help the Packers’ passing attack when it comes to running the offense in 2020. Teams will have to respect that dimension and that’s all Rodgers needs.
