No Shortage Of Motivation

When looking at the potential sources of motivation for Aaron Rodgers heading into the 2020 season, the list has become substantial. If coming off a disappointing loss in the NFC Championship wasn’t enough there has been more additions to the list lately.

The Green Bay Packers traded up in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft to draft Jordan Love out of Utah State. The team preparing for the end of Rodgers’ career should provide a bit of a spark for him to prove that he’s not trending downward.

There seems to be a growing sense that Rodgers is also not one of the NFL’s elite quarterbacks anymore. In fact, he didn’t even crack the top 10 list ranking quarterbacks heading into the 2020 season by CBS Sports’ Sean Wagner McGough.

That list wasn’t detailing fantasy football projections either. It was a rundown of the top players, in general, at the quarterback position. Rodgers naturally should have something to prove with this growing sense about his game.
