Fantasy Football outlook for the Packers’ wide receivers

Davante Adams, Packers

Although Green Bay added wideout Devin Funchess through free agency this offseason, they didn’t draft a single receiver. Funchess is a nice addition, but he’s not going to come in and steal targets away from Adams.

There’s always the chance that Valdes-Scantling builds off his solid season last year and has a breakout year in 2020. But, head coach Matt LaFluer seems dead set on making the Packers offense run oriented, making the chances of one of the young Packer wideouts having a breakout season minuscule.

Still, Adams is an elite fantasy receiver and will continue being the focal point of the Packers passing attack. According to Fantasy Pros, Adams has the second easiest schedule for wide receiver matchups.

He’ll still be worth a first round pick in any fantasy league this season despite his team’s slow transformation to a run-first, punch you in the mouth bunch.
